Introduction

This small fragment was identified as a fragment from a commentary text and published in copy by Hunger.1 It was found during the German excavations at the city of Uruk, and belongs to the library of Anu-ikṣur.

The small size of the fragment prevent us from knowing which text it comments upon. However the few preserved signs contain the suggestive line ina iškāri, “in the series …,” indicating that the fragment belonged to the small group of commentaries that contain quotations with explicit mention of the source.
